(Nov. 8, 2024) — Tessa Dellarose, the first player to be announced for the Riveters’ inaugural season in 2025, added another accolade to her resumé after being named a Third Team All-ACC player with the University of North Carolina.
Dellarose is in the midst of her junior season with the Tar Heels, who will play this Sunday for the ACC championship before taking part in the NCAA Tournament. She led all field players for North Carolina with 1,662 minutes and has started every match. Named a team captain before the start of her third year in Chapel Hill as a defender/midfielder, Dellarose has totaled three goals and four assists, which includes a pair of game-winning goals.
A product of the Riverhounds Development Academy, Dellarose is now a two-time All-ACC selection to go with her appearances for the U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team.
