PITTSBURGH (May 15, 2026) — Pittsburgh Riveters SC has its roster set for the 2026 USL W League season with the addition of four more players with homegrown roots into the First Team’s setup: defenders Caroline Liptak and Lily DeJesus, forward Gabby Beinecke and midfielder Camryn Woods.
“We are excited to see our pathway from the Riverhounds Development Academy into the Riveters continue. All of the girls will benefit from the experience of training day-in and day-out this summer at such a high level,” Riveters head coach Scott Gibson said. “The girls will be positioned to be called into game day rosters as we move throughout the season. This happened last year when Gabby was called into the playoff game squad and logged minutes as a 15-year-old.”
Liptak, 20, completed her sophomore season at Marist University last fall, appearing in 11 matches and starting seven for the Red Foxes, who posted a 5-2-5 record last season in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The Pittsburgh native is an RDA alum while also starring at nearby Shady Side Academy.
DeJesus, 18, wrapped up her high school career at Pine-Richland High School last fall and competes on the RDA’s oldest team in the Elite Clubs National League. Over the winter, she signed to join the team at Duquesne University this fall.
Beinecke, 16, became the youngest player to appear in a match for the Riveters a season ago when she came off the bench in the team’s playoff loss to Minnesota Aurora FC. She also plays in the RDA and won a PIAA state championship at South Fayette High School playing alongside Riveters teammates Caitlyn Thompson and Mia Deramo.
Woods, 16, features alongside Beinecke and fellow Riveter Anna Korney on the RDA’s 2009 Girls team. She also has experienced success at F.N.B. Stadium, where her Freeport High School team claimed the WPIAL district championship last fall.
With the team’s roster now set, the Riveters jump into action at 7 p.m. tomorrow night when they host FC Buffalo in their season opener at F.N.B. Stadium. Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster and at the F.N.B. Stadium Box Office.
