PITTSBURGH (June 29, 2026) — The Pittsburgh Riveters have their opponent to begin the 2026 USL W League Playoffs with confirmation they will be the Central Conference’s No. 2 seed and host No. 3 Racing Louisville FC at 7 p.m. Friday, July 3 at F.N.B. Stadium.
The 16-team national bracket was announced in full, including the other Central Conference matchup, pitting defending conference champ and No. 1 seed Minnesota Aurora FC against No. 4 Union FC Macomb at 3:30 p.m. Friday. The winners of the two semifinals will meet for the conference title at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 5.
It is the second straight season the Riveters (9-0-1) are in the playoffs as the Great Forest Division champs after being defeated by Minnesota in the semifinals a season ago, 2-0. This year, they will get a Louisville (6-1-2) side that edged out Indy Eleven by a single point for the top spot in the Valley Division to claim their first playoff appearance.
The other matchup pits another playoff debutante in Great Lakes Division champ Macomb (7-2-1) against the Aurora (12-0-0), who have never missed the W League Playoffs in five seasons but are still seeking their first title.
