PITTSBURGH (Sept. 17, 2025) — Ahead of the team’s second season, Pittsburgh Riveters SC has announced the date for its Open Tryout, which will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the AHN Montour Sports Complex in Coraopolis.
The Open Tryout is the first step in the process for new players to become a part of the 2026 Pittsburgh Riveters. Players will be evaluated by the Riveters staff, led by head coach Scott Gibson and sporting director Dan Visser, and receive feedback on their performance.
Players selected by the coaching staff could be asked to return for an invitational tryout at a later date or offered a spot on the 2026 Riveters roster. Four players on the inaugural 2025 Riveters team began their path to the squad from last year’s open tryouts, and the club once again wants to assemble the best team possible to build on last season’s Great Forest Division title and USL W League Playoffs berth.
